Window Blinds

A window blind is a type of window covering which is made using different material and system and is used to block, control or allow daylight and view into the room through the window. A typical window blind may use slats (made of fabric, wood, plastic or metal) or use a cloth fabric sheets. A mechanism (manual or automatic) is present to rotate and cross travel the slats and in case of fabric sheet to roll up , roll down and align for the control outside light and view.

Features of Venetian Blinds -
  • It has horizontal slats, one above another.
  • The slats are available made of metal strips, plastic or wood.
  • The horizontal slats can be rotated to adjust the gap between slats and hence controlling the amount of entering daylight and limiting outside view.
  • To open a horizontal blind, the cord is pulled, which causes the slats to stack up.

Application - All Residential, Commercial and Industrial use. Venetian blinds are most used for privacy purpose in offices and residence.


Features of Vertical Blinds  -
  • A vertical blind has vertical slats made of fabric which are assembled one beside the other.
  • The slats in vertical position and can be rotated to control entering daylight and view. A separate mechanism opens the blind and closes the vertical blinds by moving the slats transversely.
  • Vertical blinds are less likely to hold dirt and be damaged by strong wind than Venetian blinds.
  • Manual version of these blinds require less muscle strength, and are faster to operate than Venetian blinds.
  • Waterproof Fabric is available made of  polyester or cotton of 100 mm width.

Features of Roller Blinds -
  • Roller blinds uses a single piece of material usually cloth fabric instead of slats.
  • These blinds have simple design and are easy to operate.
  • The fabric rolls up to open when the cord is pulled and down to close.
  • Fabric is available made of polyester and comes in a wide array of colors, designs and patterns including  jute design, suede design, chess pattern , folded pattern  and in terms of light passing capability as translucent and opaque/blackout fabrics etc.
  • Roller Blinds can be customized as per the design/image provided by customers. The design/image is printed on blackout fabric.

  • Zebra blinds has two fabric facings with each fabric facing having alternate translucent and opaque strips which can be aligned for complete light control and privacy.
